I'm reading online about the flooding at GNP and the closures. Seems like a rare event. Anyone out there with pictures or more info on what's happening?

We live about 5 miles from the west entrance. No closures or impact for the west or st Mary areas.

Back country is flooded, rivers are over the banks, and the worst is Many Glacier where they have evacuated and closed. Standing water on trails.

In 24 hrs we received 4 inches of rain. High country had 3 inches of snow that is melting now. Result is lots of water moving out of the area.

Biggest impact is the rivers, all of which are unsafe for activity.
