Okay here are our needs: a vehicle that can fit 6 people and our Giant Schnauzer, and tow a camper we can all sleep in. No big toys, maybe bikes as the kids get older.

My hubs wants a Ford Excursion- we have found a couple but then I also started looking at some of the GMC Explorers and wondered if there was a way those could work? Similar price to the Excursion and way more on the market… less miles… newer etc. At one point we also looked at a Ford Expedition Max.

Does anyone have a rig with an Explorer?? I’m also probably a little dense on this matter so please tell me if this is just not gonna work lol.

Have you thought about a motorhome and pulling a toad? This is just my opinion but it would seem to be a better fit

We have. My husband is concerned about safety while driving. Of course, the safest would be for me to follow in a separate vehicle with the kids but we don’t want to do that if we can avoid it. We also thought about a large truck with six seats- but no one would be comfortable and the dog won’t fit 😆
