Come on @Joe Hogan, build your own I used to build my own years ago, then got Dell's, then pandemic to now I've built two and love them. Not micro for me, but build your own can be fun and get exactly what you want. Try the builder thingy at Newegg.com.

You get what you pay for!
I like my chiclet keyboard cheap when I bought it (450.00) Chromebook, because I can put it on my charge station shelf and forget it, if I want to!

But there is a price I pay for that choice. Major cost is I can't upgrade the video card in the box! I can't program my PI or Arduinos offline,and things like that.

Adding the necessary hardware, I don't see the advantage!!!

I’ve assembled many PCs over the years. It is a fun and educational experience.
The technology is now past my limited knowledge of tech. It is hard enough just trying to understand the differences in the pre assembled boxes.

Prefer virtual machines these days.

Do have a new Mac laptop with their cpu which performs very well. Have multiple windows copies running on that for the things I have to have Windows for under Parallels.

Have a Linux VM running as well.

All assembled and ready for the road. BTW I don’t like using a Laptop PC.

Folding wireless keyboard /mouse, mobile monitor and GMKtec pc.
All pieces work well together.
