Hi! New RVer here. First winter too. We have two grey tanks and the one from the kitchen won't drain. We use antifreeze after each drain. The temperature is in the teens. About 2 feet is exposed to the elements. We have applied the heating tape and wrapped with foam. We have tried blow drying, de-icer, and now we just wait. Any other recommendations? We have a few weeks left in this spot before we head to another spot that will be just as cold. We have the winter package in our 2021 Keystone Sprinter. We hope this is fixed before we pull out at the end of the month.

Pour some hot water in it and hope. Get a skirting of some kind. I don't care what package you have, it will freeze in those temps. Get something around the base and probably put a heater in there.

Well. I read about rock salt and lots of hot water and the ice finally melted and was able to drain the gray tank. Thanks! I will now work on skirting.
