I'm thinking about buying a new or used Class B, or even having one built. Just starting the research and a threshold question for me is round clearance. So many of these vehicles look like they're designed just for driving from one RV park to another on paved streets, so much is hanging below the axels. I'm not going hard core off roading, but I would like to include basic US Forest Service and BLM campsites as destinations and these often have ungraded, even rutted approaches. Surely there's one chassis, (Pro-Master, Sprinter, Transit…) that's generally known for the best ground clearance. Anyone know which? Or does anyone know a website that discusses this?
