When plugging in to shore power the 50 amp breaker yrips. After a lot of troubleshooting I have found the problem to be on the 120v breaker box at post R7. Can anyone advise where R7 is connected to ?. I have disconnected the common on this circuit and the breaker no longer trips.
Sorry I was in a hurry. 2018 Fleetwood Southwind 36P. Plug in the rv and 50 amp breaker at the post pops. Checked the input and output on the onboard surge protector. Had good service coming in but on the output when the common wire was disconnected to the coach the breaker did not trip. Disconnected every white wire in the coach 120v breaker box and the 50 amp breaker did not trip so disconnected all white wires at the bresker panel and connected them on at a time. The one that trips the 50 amp service to the rv is a connection on the top of the panel that is labeled R7 and is not to a breaker. The rv systems seem to work o.k. with r7 disconnected from the common side but I would like to find out where the circuit goes to resolve the problem. I studied the schematics to the coach with no success. Have contacted Fleetwood twice but no reply.
