Now that eggs are getting hard to find in some locations, I finally learned how to get a perfectly peeled egg!
The background:
I found a deal on some eggs the other day and realized I hadn't had a pickled eggs for quite a while.
I like taking a few for lunch on short day trips, you know they are quite versatile.
Anywho they set in the fridge for a few days while I got brave enough to boil and peal them. I invisioned eggs that looked like they were in a war zone. No matter what recipe you use what they look like matters.
I said something about my lack of talent to a friend and she gave me her secret. Thought I would share it with you.
It's so simple I can only wonder why everyone has not been taught.
With your spoon break a circle around the eggs large end and peal off the top. Then under the membrane insert the spoon and scoop out the egg.
Only one out of twenty came out with flaws!!!
