My wife and I bought 2019 jay co Redhawk class C motorhome. It was prewired for solar the monitoring controller is not there. I would like to install an aftermarket 200 watt solar 4 to 6 volt batteries. Has anyone done this before

My TT claimed to be 'pre-wired' for solar. It was simply a pigtail wired to the batteries and plugged into a portable panel. Much like their 'cable ready' claim.

yeah that is basically what "pre-wired" seems to mean for all of them.

mine has the plug on the side of the trailer near the battery box, for a portable ground panel.

I ended up buying this kit and wiring it myself:

Amazon product ASIN B0CG2GNRWN

Many times they mark where to cut into the roof to find the wire.
If that is your case leave the roof undisturbed, and plan running larger wires so you can expand your solar in the future!!!
