Heading south the 27th

Twila and I are heading to Doulphin Island on the 27th. We haven’t been in a few years, but it was a very peaceful place with a boardwalk to the beach. Across the street are deep sea fishing charters and a ferry to get to the other side of the bay. We’re leaving the 1st and heading to Foley Al. For the big hot air ballon festival.
I asked if they had a place to park an RV, they said yes in lots 4,5,6. If we stayed overnight it wouldn’t be a problem.

We stayed at Dauphin Island Campground and loved it. There were only two other Canadian couples in the park with us and we were all treated very well. On my bucket list to go back.

We have been to the island for a visit but have not camped there. Sounds good.
