Thought I’d pass this along since I ran into the issue today.

Well, picked up the latest TST 770 with new screen and 10 sensors for coach and toad at the Tampa show this past January.

Old caps were 6 years old and didn’t have the toad setup previously.

Like that the new kit comes with the booster antenna as well.

Checking pressures today and installing all the caps I found a difference in the new caps.

Threaded connection to cap is wider and shorter than the old ones.

They hit the rim on our front wheels prior to getting all the way threaded on ☹️

Appears the new caps may need short extensions to use.

Luckily our old caps are compatible with the new monitor so I updated the front sensor codes and installed the old ones - good to go for now.

Update - added pics for info.

Just a follow up on the new system overall….

Love the new touch screen monitor - much easier to read and use. Suction cup mount actually stays in place compared to our old color monitor one. Setting alarms, etc is all now on the screen instead of buttons etc that the old one had.

The booster antenna that comes with the new system is a definite plus. Couldn’t find 12 v readily available in the rear bays of the coach so picked up a 12 v power supply

New Version 110V to 12V DC... Amazon.com

and used command strip Velcro to hold it down on the bedroom dresser.

Antenna for the booster is also command strip Velcro held in place next to the power supply.

About 800 miles in so far, on our trip north, and have not dropped a signal from any tire including the 4 on the toad.

Nice setup overall as far as I am concerned.

You can grab 12 volts from the light wiring in the rear hatch. I just followed the wire from the light to where it entered into the shelving area and connected my booster there. Its connected just right of the right hinge
