We are trying to turn on our heater(2022 Jayco Jay feather) and it cycles over to AC. Any ideas what we are doing wrong? This is the first time we are using the heat.

What do you mean by cycles over? Many new units have heat pumps in the AC units so they do provide heat. Some have a heat strip in them.

Don’t know if this will help, but we have a 2018 Winnebago with dual AC units and thermostats in the front and back. Because the furnace with floor ducting runs throughout the coach, we have to turn on the heat with the front thermostat. The rear thermostat won’t turn on the heat. Yours may be different though. Good luck!

Set the fan to auto, the AC unit should not kick on with the heat. And it is fan only, no AC operation.
