Glad to join the RV Forum! Years ago, my husband and I had a Fleetwood 37 ft gasoline RV and had a lot of fun with that. We sold it long ago, and now are considering getting a used diesel pusher and doing some traveling with our dog. We have a jeep to tow. We are looking at Newmar and Thor and Tiffin RVs in the 35-37 ft range and wonder if anyone has information about what might make one or the other of these manufacturers most desirable. We just listened to a saleman video from 2017 talk about the good things about Newmar. The Comfort Drive system being one important thing. Maybe they all have something similar now. And Newmar being built by Amish artisans with all wood quality. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome!

Keep in mind that video is from 2017. A lot of things concerning construction, materials used, outsourced products have changed since then. Newmar is now owned by Winnebago and Tiffin is owned by Thor.

I am partial to Newmar. Yes some things have changed, but Newmar would by far be my first choice. I would consider Tiffin a distant second,

They all have issues.

When we had our coach inspected prior to purchase the inspector told us that, based on all he checked out, Newmar was at the top of the list.

The quality of the interior, woodwork, etc in the Newmar made it an easy decision to up our budget to get into our Superstar.

Our Newmar has been great for the two years we have been full time in it.

Newmar, we love our DS

I'm a Newmar guy as well. Starting our 2nd season with the BayStar, which is gas, and have been pretty satisfied. It is our goal to use this one for a couple more years and then trade up to a DP....which will most likely be a Newmar.
