Hello to fellow RVers, from MI!

Hi all! New to this forum, but long-time camper. To all those Michigan campers, what is your favorite campground. Over the years we've made a habit of spending serious time at Ludington state park, and Mears state park, as we love the west Michigan coast and beaches. We're looking to branch out. Where are your must stops in Michigan?

I have been there when in Michigan. The Park is close to the Ludington Bay Brewery. Another favorite place of mine.

As I replied in another forum, but others here might like:

Not a Michigander, but live 5 miles south of border in Indiana.
We usually stay in private campgrounds as your state excessively charges out of staters and we prefer KOAs due to cleanliness, predictability, and dog runs.

South Haven, Grand Haven, Saugatuck, Charlevoix, and Mackinac Island (Mackinaw City camping) are out favorites.

Heading to the Island, Charlevoix, and Gaylord 2nd week of October. Fall colors should be peaked by then.
