It’s done! Couldn’t have managed without the info & support from @MapNerd and @RandyB! Didn’t have to raise up that corner where wires came out after all! Thanks again!

Looks great!

Very nice and glad some members could lend some support.

Looks great!

Wondering if you could tell me or show me how this chair would look in space on the right side? It’s 30” wide -gal didn’t send me depth. Space is 75” wide at floor and about 43” deep. Would store ottoman when not in use. I’m terrible with spatial imagining. ? I’m afraid it would eat up that space. Rolling cart would be moved. Don’t hesitate to tell me if I’ve used up all my newbie questions. ?

Does the back lay back when it reclines, or it is the type that maintains distance from the wall? I would think that might be an important consideration.

And, there's no limit on "newbie questions" (or, any other kind) on RVF. ;)

She says it reclines

"Reclines" is a very general term. Ask if it is a "wall hugger" or a "zero clearance" model. They can sit with the back close to the wall and not have to be moved away from it to "recline." Tratitional "recliners" need 12-24" of clearance from the wall in order to be able to lay back.

I could but won’t have time to do that today. The fast way is just with a measuring tape to get an idea in your mind.
