We own a recently purchased 2018 Wayfarer and have encountered a problem. After the initial purchase we utilized covered storage with a 30 amp feed. During the first 6 weeks of ownership the Mercedes engine battery would start the unit with no problem. Now after 3 months the unit will not start and there is not power to either the cab or the coach. The engine will start by utilizing jumper cables and will typically restart the next day, but not the following day. The warning alerts do not show any charging issues. I read in the owners manual that there is both an Automatic Transfer Switch and an Inverter switch but the owners manual is unclear of their locations. We would really appreciate any suggestions or help regarding this issue.
Many Thanks

The auto transfer switch and the inverter are not the problem. Auto transfer selects from available power sources to operate the rig. Like shore power, generator, or inverter with batteries and solar. The inverter just takes battery power and turns it into 120vac for some things in the vehicle, usually not everything. There is a converter somewhere in there, normally close to the fuse panel. This charges the batteries when on shore power and helps boost the batteries when a large draw occurs. I would turn the inverter off if you are storing the rig. Perhaps this is draining the batteries but if plugged into shore power it should not.
