To own an RV and travel the country is my dream for a long time. I hope I can achieve that soon. Looking for a cheap RV to Puechase possibly in the Austin TX area or 300 miles around it - Jouston, Dallas, San Antonio Waco etc.

What is your budget? Are you looking for a motorhome, bumper pull travel trailer, fifth wheel, or pop-up?

Thank you Jim for responding. I have a Lexus RX 350 with a hitch installed. As per the web, it can tow 2000 lbs. So it has to fit that configuration.
Budgetwise, I would like to be affordable, possibly not new, since it would be expensive.

That isn't a lot of towing capacity so I think you're limited to a pop-up.

Besides the tow capacity, also think about stability on a highway and stopping. If the trailer sways at all, you could have the tail wagging the dog. Having something in a tow vehicle with a bit more beef would make it more enjoyable.
