Hello! I live on the west coast and am wondering if there are any horse campers in this forum? Where are your favorite spots and why? Any to avoid? Thanks in advance.

West Coast is a big area. I can name a few camp areas I have run across in Washington State. Up Tucannon Rd in the Blue Mountains there is a horse camp. A few miles past Camp Wooten. Tie up posts and some wood corrals last time I was up there a few years ago. Ahtanum State Forest has a horse camp. Outside of Yakima on Ahtanum Rd past Tampico, WA. Okanagan Wenatchee Ranger District is a popular area for horse campers. Up Corral Creek Rd on the Nile bypass off hiway SR410. Less motorcycles and ORVs on that side of the hiway. I see lots of people riding and camping there with horses. Wide open camping area. Lots of trails. They bring their own panels. I've ran across all this in a Jeep LOL! I sold my only try at horse ownership decades ago.
