I get hot water in four seconds at any faucet with my recirculation loop. The loop saves water when boondocking as it is hot almost immediately. My six gallon tank is now close to eight gallons of hot water. This is because of the water in the pipe loop. The 1 amp 12 volt pump has low current draw.

For added comfort I installed a faucet in the shower that sets the temperature at my favorite warmth.

This is not an easy install but the benefits are enormous. When boondocking you are not running water to your holding tank, only to get it warm.

Wow! Guess that's one way to do it. I just put a valve in at the kitchen sink (furthermore hot line) and run it back to the fresh water tank.
