Looking for a nice hotel to stay a night or two in Nappanee to stage for CPU of Dutch Star. We like to arrive the day before and have the first delivery night an option of RV or Hotel.

Any recommendations?

Go to the Oakwood in Syracuse, 12 miles east of the Mothership. You wont be disappointed. The rest of the “motels” near Nappanee are suboptimal IMHO. The folks at the service center know this and should have steered you that way.

There is a.really nice Hilton Doubletree in South Bend Google Maps
If you're coming from the west, really good restaurant

Newmar paid for our stay during warranty work at the Oakwood Resort. This was 2018, but it seemed to be their go-to place back then. Definitely a nice place on Lake Wawasee and not too far away.

Oakwood is nice, but we were perfectly fine with the Amish Inn.. it's right there in Nappanee.. Closer to get to Dutchmaid Eatery for breakfast and we just need a place to sleep since its not a vacation to me when we are there for service.

Scheduled at the Oakwood for a couple of days. I'll post my experience.
