Not really any different than AC. resistance because of lower voltages. Different load/wire size due to duty cycle. And never an issue due to wave timing on parallel runs.
The reason it's important to force the power through the battery bank is battery resistance.
There are a few of us industrial electricians on the forum. My information has been charged more by hobbies and side hustles in e boats, and computer controlled machines. Other than that I'm just a retired electrician.
