As I’m contemplating the last several thousand miles just traveled, it boils down to this.
How is it that with all the American engineering prowess we possess, why can’t we:
1. Build a railroad crossing that doesn’t knock your teeth fillings out?
2. Find a way to transition onto and off of a bridge crossing that doesn’t tear up the coach.
3. Make a roadway patch that doesn’t convert a pothole into a pot dome?

Really? It can’t be all that difficult.
