Hi all,
Just looking for suggestions on trailer or RV size. Me and my wife are preparing for full time living after retirement. Would like some input on size , while we plan to go full time, which means we need big, we also don't want to exclude ourselves from the forest and national park choices for camping. Any ideas on best compromise size choices on trailers or class A that would give us the opportunity to spend some time in the forest and mountains, while still being comfortable in the RV parks? Thanks in advance.

I just recently purchased a Grand Design 2800B - this is a very nice length as it is still towable by most medium size trucks, and has a full size shower and bathroom. They make similar floor plans that have a larger sitting area ILO bunks, and that might be a better choice for a retiree.

With this size, all of the state parks and national parks are easily doable. I also will have a 45' London Aire that will be used most of the time. If I had to choose only one of the two, it would be the London Aire, and I would stay outside of the national park and drive in to visit.

We have a 2015 Chateau 28Z for the two of us, a German Shepherd and a mini Dachshund. We are currently redesigning the overhead for storage. It is find for us.
