So, I used to average 550 miles a day. On the way home from Newmar I did anywhere from 280 to 360 a day.
What do you generally average.

There is no right or wrong answer. At some point, if need arises, I may do the 550 a day, its all about personal stamina, not what anyone feels is right for anyone else.

It really depends on the trip plan. I have no problem long hauling with an intentional planned lunch stop and dog walk. Bladder dictates other stops and if tired, stop as needed. I try to stay within the public typical guidance of 4-6 hours. I enjoy the drive as much as the destination. I enjoy the views out the big Class A window and I enjoy the think time to sort out the world's problems. If I'm heading out west and I know I have to cross the Texas continent, that's a long haul type situation. Enjoy the journey is key, rest, don't push it, yadda yadda.

I've been known to do 6-700, but 500 in normal.
Time is the determinate more than miles.
I like to pull in to campgrounds before 5 and Cracker Barrel parking lots around 7 to have time for a good dinner.

We don't care about miles so much as time. We like to be stopped by 2:00 PM and are normally on the road around 10:00 AM.

I'm a destination type person. I get some winks when I need them, then continue on.

If it's 1500 miles then likely I stopped 3 for 4 times along the way for 2 to 3 hrs at a time. Never at a place designed for anything other than rest. It's All about the destination.

We carefully planned our last 1500 mile run and kept the days much shorter then usual. We took 6 days to make the trip we would do in 2 in a car or truck and I have driven straight thru.....much younger then. It's harder in New England I think.

250 max

I go by time.6 hours if trying to get somewhere. 4 if not in a hurry....

I'll do 9 to get out of the ugly heat of Arizona and in to the cool of the San Juans but only on the first day.

350 most cases some much further if needed. I love to drive so I can go for a long ways. We choose shorter distance so we can enjoy the late afternoons and evening at our destinations.

When were slaves to the clock, we'd leave home after work on a Friday and make as many miles as possible and boondock at a Walmart. Then an 8-10 hour Saturday. The going home drive was usually as much as 9-10 hours, sometimes for 2 days so that we could be back to work on-time on Monday. Now that we're retired, we target +/- 4 hours. Sometimes we'll do a much longer day or 2 but that's to escape winter!

I try to stay at 300. Sometimes up to 400. I don’t want it to seem like work😂.

Count me in to the 300-400-mile club as well. I never minded doing 500+ mile days, in which I would tell my DW that, at times, I would get into a rhythm and could seemingly drive forever.

Now, my DW's butt gets sore after 5 hours on the road, and my bladder relief stops seem to have become more frequent, eating up drive-time minutes.

We tried to do between 300 and 400.

Stop every hour or hour and a half - ended up averaging 50 mph overall on a trip.

Have done just about 500 in a day but that one was an anomaly.

Much more relaxing after retirement and not hammering trying to get to the vacation spot.
