How much coffee grinds to use?

I usually mix a couple of different brands/roasts together for my daily drink. I put it in mason jars and just shake out about half a filter depth in my Mr. Coffee.
Maybe I should measure it and see how much I'm really using...
 
I use 6 heaping and 1 level of the measuring spoon that comes with my coffee. I have no idea if it is the recommended or what, it just tastes right to me after experimenting over time. I suspect it's more than called for.
 
4 tablespoons for 12 ounce cup.

Like it strong and anything is better than the government surplus we had on the submarine 😊

Used to be a few pots a day when I first got out but, when the choices are water, koolaide, powdered milk, or coffee - you get hooked on coffee.

Does depend on the coffee and I adjust if needed depending on what I buy based on sales.
