We've worked many years to get where we are and we enjoy our RV. We may play the music a little loud but turn it down when it starts getting late. I smoke cigars sitting out side. We have an adult beverage or 4. We are respectful of others around us. If we do something that offends you, say something to us. Don't just jump on social media and complain. Have courage. If you don't want to approach the camper, then have the camp staff do it.

I'm a salesman with 35 years of experience of reading people. It's how I make my living and I'm very good at it. I watched this bunch of yahoos all day drinking beer like it was a contest, smoking their ciggerettes, yelling from campsite to campsite like they were the only ones around so by dark they were all acting like drunken sailors. Remember, we had been there all week and these guys and gals showed up with 3 lifted diesel pickups and a car and 2 campers on Friday just in time for the Labor Day weekend. PARTY TIME!!! And you think I should have just walked over there in the middle of 12 people and asked them to turn their bright white lights off on the front of their camper? I can already tell you how that would have gone. It wouldn't have ended well. So I didn't say anything. I didn't call the campground office and complain. I just endured it for 2 nights and then we left to come home. It's not that I lacked any courage regardless what you may think, it's that I'm smart enough not to cause a big fight with a bunch of drunks 2 days before I want to leave. I left them alone and they raised hell for 2 days like they owned the place. I only mentioned it here so maybe somebody else that has these god awful bright lights on the front of their camper might realize how bright they are shining straight across the road in your neighbors eyes. The awning lights didn't bother me because they provided them light to see their stuff. But the lights on the front of the camper were just to be obnoxious. They weren't trying to hook up a truck in the dark so else why have them on? Anyway, under the circumstances it was better for me to stay on my side of the road.

On this recent trip I have noticed many different 5th wheels and tow behind trailers have these lights on the nose. Apparently an option from the factory. I only noticed because they where lit at night, all night. Some were blue and others white.

my wife/sister/I on a recent trip to Pensacola stopped off at a quant RV park in Florence Miss; very quiet, very small, surrouding a small lake. The next door RV had a 'flood light' on shining they blared into our trailer. I assumed they would cut it off at 10pm; at 2am my sister was tossing/turning on the turndown--so i went next door and unplugged it. You just never know anymore...

I've been curious about those colored lights made into the front of so many modern fivers. Do they have a purpose?
Do they have switches so the owner has the option of turning them off? Are any owners aware of the existence of such switches? :)

Evidence I have seen does suggest.
