Hello,
What is the procedure to charge the 100 amp AGM house battery in my 2018 Roadtrek Simplicity with a gas powered Honda generator ?
Do I just plug in 30 amp cord into elrctrical outlet on the coach and fire up the generator ?
Should I turn on the inverter ?
Should I kept the battery disconnect switch on or off ?
Should I just observe the batteries % indicator to see when the battery is fully charged...or will the Honda generator shut off when the battery is fully charged ?

Thank you
Larry

Plugging it in should work, an inverter changes 12 vdc to 120 vac....cannot charge if it is disconnected unless there is a second path to the battery, which is possible but not likely as it must go thru the converter to charge the battery. Depends where the battery charge state gauge is in the system and if the Honda is an onboard self start it may but that depends on the system in your unit.
