If the vehicle alternator charges the coach battery while driving, would that be a problem for lithium batteries?
 
I'm too dumb for that "smart" technology. I'll just buy new wet cell batteries every 4-5 years at $100 each until they don't sell them anymore.

No problem for lithium batteries, it's the alternator that's a potential problem. It will never produce the required voltage to charge lithium batteries, causing it to overheat and destroy itself, without significant changes to the 12v system. For this reason, I disconnected my alternator from charging my house lithium batteries and rely on solar only until I decide what other changes I want to make. At some point, I will replace the Xantrax 458 converter/inverter with something better suited to lithium and re connect my alternator.

It is not built heavy enough to sustain the amperage for long periods. That is what this video is showing you!!! In their example the claim is not enough air movement to cool the alternator. Other options are available but not used in the automobile industry.
