We are Ed and Denise and Daisey and the newest, Ruby, (mini weenies) who camp in our Radiance travel trailer every month at least once a month, March thru October.
We live on an island in the Pacific Northwest and feel blessed we have so many spots to explore on a tank of gas or less....
We do make a few longer trips, too, last year a 3-weeker to Mount Rushmore with stops in Yellowstone going and returning with a over nighter at Devils Monument, and Cody......which I want to go back to, that museum is worth a few days by itself!
On my third trailer, having started years ago with a tent trailer and when the kids were young.
They moved on, and years later we purchased our first trailer when we went shopping for a new stove and passed a trailer lot....
Not sure how that happened, I haven't chanced shopping for stoves since :)
HOWEVER, clueless and green, we cut our teeth on that trailer only to find it was more than what we wanted.
We purchased our current trailer, and hopefully last, on what we did learn and what is really important to us as a retired couple who likes state campgrounds the best. I yank the beast with a F-250 SD gasser and she works just fine as well.
We just got back from our 2nd trip of the year to Brinnon, Wa, on the Dosewallips river, see attached picture.
Looking forward to meeting you all here on the INTERNET or on the road....!!!

Welcome aboard. We used to live in Vancouver, Canada and one of our favorites was Whitby Island. Years later we moved to Vancouver Island and rather that using BC Ferries, used Washington State instead. Loved the trip from Sidney to Anacortes. Still on our bucket list is to see Friday Harbor.

Safe Travels

Thanks for the welcomes, much appreciated.
Been to Friday Harbor Darrel, by boat, not with my trailer.
Its pretty and some amazing homes hang from the shorelines.
The ferries are quickly falling into disrepair from poor management, in need of new vessels.
The round trip from Coupeville to Port Townsend set me back 150 bucks.....
Yes I saved on gas as opposed to driving up and around and then down to Olympia then west and then back up the 101 hwy..... so it was worth it, sorta.
BTW, the picture I posted was on Phantom Creek, not the Dosewallips River, didn't want folks to get the wrong idea about what we call rivers..... :)
It was on the other side of the campground, a couple hundred feet away.....
Here is a picture of it.
