I don't have an RV yet but have been wanting to get one. Joined the forum to do a little more research on travel trailers.

Already been looking at the local dealers and watching a LOT of YouTube videos on the topic from trailer reviews, to tow vehicles and weight distribution hitches.

I have a crew cab, Chevy Silverado 4x4 with the tow package. The trailer I'm considering is the Coleman LT 17B or others withe similar specs and floor plans.

The travel trailer will mostly be used too sleep, shower in and the occasional meal while on vacation. We tend to eat out every day while on vacation.
But if I do follow through with the purchase I may take it on the occasional weekend fishing trip.

Welcome to the forum and the lifestyle, Galt. Wonderful adventures await. I have no advice on the trailer you're considering, but the best advice I ever got when looking for my first RV was to spend several hours inside the RV, just like you are living there. Sit at the table and pretend you're eating. Work in the kitchen. Actually get in the shower, close the door, and mime taking a shower. (I advise keeping your clothes on, though). Consider where you're going to put the coffee maker and the plates and pots and pans. Take your time.
