2005 40 Monaco Camelot, we have a howling vibration noise coming from the windshield dash area. Can't track down exact source. This noise is speed controlled between 35 mph and 55 mph it varies. Temperature may affect it also. Have checked the windshield for leaks, negative. I have looked over the exterior and have found nothing. thinking it may be from wipers?

Going through a very deep pothole at walking speed, rocking the coach violently, the windshield partially unseated from its gasket and wind howled through starting at about 35 mph. In the aftermath I found out that Monacos have a known tendency among glass, body repair, and insurance industries to warp/distort from curb strikes and the like and even from using a four-jack leveling system. I assume this is the reason I have one jack at front center instead of two. My repair was approximately $8,600 including a new windshield which broke -- I believe unnecessarily -- during replacement. I take note that you cannot see any disfigurement of the windshield or its gasket but I suggest you investigate more thoroughly. I would use wide masking tape to run a seal around the gap between gasket and body, all four sides, and drive. Don't use duck tape. It's more aggressive adhesive may pull paint loose when it comes off.
