We were out camping this past weekend. Everything worked on my to our camping area. On the way home the speedometer quit working. I have a 99' HR Endeavor with the 5.9/Allison. From what I have read, I think I have the Freight liner chassis. Any ideas on what to check for repair? I am new to the Class A and the HR

Probably best to give Freightliner a call or email and give them your VIN and see what they say. Probably have to take it in of course.

Welcome to RVF, @brushtrooper; glad to have you here with us. There are at least a couple of late-90s HR owners on the forum, so hopefully they might have some ideas for you.

I'm guessing that your speedometer is electric and driven by a wheel-speed sensor or something similar. Electrical connections are always suspect, as are broken wires and lost ground. And, of course, there's always the possibility of a failed sensor. The trick is in knowing where to look and every manufacturer seems to locate things differently.

Good luck.
