Things have certainly changed at the new Newmar. I just endeavored to “spec out” a Ventana 4037 and my grand list of choice included the exterior (1 of 4), interior fabrics (1 of 3), cabinet finish (1 of 8 or 10 none of which were appealing), and lastly (yes lastly - no other options), the chassis - FL or Spartan. That’s it. No way to order a “high option” coach and from my brief experience, no visibility of the many systems, components, etc. I would say they seem to have fewer options than Winebego, but my guess is they are just about identical. Oh well. Maybe they are reserving options choices for the luxury models - I wouldn’t know. Back to looking at older coaches.

I am not sure that’s accurate. The brochure shows a lot of options like normal.

Did you go to a dealer? Do you have the Newmar build sheet?

Will be great to see you back in a Newmar again. Yeah, I'd be looking at pre-owned when you see the price of what you want. But I'd reach out to NIRVC and Steinbring.

I did find the options list in the brochures after a brief search, but no prices and apparently no way to do an exploratory build on your own like you could a year ago. I guess you only find out the cost of options when you sit down with a dealer to create an order. I think it was more efficient the other way. For instance, when you see heated floors cost $12000 you might think you can live without that and move one. Same with upgraded $10000+ awnings and all the rest. I just see too much of a WBGO hand in marketing and sales, and like most other changes I experience, I liked it better the old way.

Check out the “Newmar-Shopping Tools-Build your Coach” section of the website. No access to options or prices. Yes they are still listed on the brochures, but you can’t price out a coach with them anymore other than exterior paint, interior fabric, and cabinet finish. My guess is they don’t want option-price sticker-shock to turn people away before the dealer can get his hooks into the potential buyer.
