If your roof membrane is black on the bottom and white on the top, it's EPDM. Re roofing with either EPDM or TPO can be a DIY project but with a lot of caveats. I replaced the EPDM on my '95 Bounder 34J, it took me almost a full week doing it myself. EPDM & TPO membrane can be purchased by the foot. No special tools required, just a screw driver, razor knife and a lot of time to remove everything off the roof then all the screws holding the trim pieces on the end caps and roof radius on each side to remove the old EPDM/TPO. I've read where others have suggest to just apply the new membrane over the old but that's inviting disaster! Otherwise, you need to clean the substrate, apply the adhesive, then carefully apply the EPDM/TPO using a roller to ensure no air pockets are formed between the substrate and EPDM. Cut the holes for AC, vents etc. then you begin to put everything back on the roof. If you decide it's too much, a trusted repair shop should be able do it in about 8 to 12 hours.
