My friend developed FROSTLOK, a peel-and-stick insulation system originally built for boat fish boxes/livewells (turns a bare compartment into a sealed, insulated space). Someone mentioned it might work for RV storage bays too, and I honestly don't know — the site's built around marine use and I haven't tested it on a toy hauler garage.
Before we look into an RV version, curious if this is even a real problem for people here: does the garage bay heat/cold actually bother you, do you already stash a cooler in there, would insulating a section of it be useful, or is this solving nothing? Other relevant use cases would entail
FROSTLOK may also have a strong application in RV outdoor kitchens and exterior compartments, allowing folks to turn existing storage space into insulated cold storage for ice, beverages, and food. Instead of adding another bulky cooler, FROSTLOK could turn underutilized RV compartment space into an integrated cold-retention system.
