I bought a 2023 Sun Lite Sport 16bh for my wife and myself but know nothing about travel trailers. I'm hoping to learn as I go with help from this forum and some kind folks that remember what it was like when they first started Rv'ing. Looking forward to participate, contribute, and support the Forum in any way I can.

Welcome. There are plenty of friendly and knowledgeable people here that will be happy to help you with questions.

Thank you for your service.

Welcome aboard!

I don't know if you have been out with your new trailer yet but if you have not.....I recommend your first trip be very close to home (your drive way would be best) so that if you forgot to pack anything important, your not far away.

Once you get used to your unit, there is so much to explore and do on our continent. Enjoy.

Safe travels.

Thanks, it's still in driveway (it was delivered to house). I'm still trying to figure out the massive hitch and equalizer kit it came with. Also, the battery was dead and I put my charger on it. How does the battery get charged when traveling? I'm guessing through the tow vehicles wiring harness? Our previous Class C charged the aux battery using connection to truck charging system. Anyway, I appreciate the welcome.

There is a hot wire from the tow vehicles connecter that will charge the battery when the vehicle is running and connected. Ah,,,,you are not a newbie RVer. I am sorry I jump to the conclusion that you were. I hope you enjoy your new trailer. There are lots of users here that will help you with your hitch questions.
