Our Winegard in motion satellite has quit working. No parts available. Trying to decide between purchasing another dish for satellite or equipping RV with Smart tv and internet? Any thoughts

You will have to do your own math, but in my case, we needed internet for work anyway, so it was already a cost factor for us. Streaming TV is a lot cheaper than the average sat subscription, but again your math. In my case I went with a starlink for primary and reduced the cellular plans I was relying on (varying results) with lower cost plans for backup (when I cant operate Starlink, like going down the road)..Overall we reduced $100 dollars/month and have much more reliable service. Your mileage may vary

Definitely streaming for me. I've got a wineguard pathwayx2 I need to sell along with 2 other dish network dishes and 3 receivers because I got tired of their outrageous rates.

Between otr antenna and streaming (either from wifi or my phone hotspot) I get by fine.

You don't have to change to smart tv's if you have an hdmi port on your tv, just buy a firestick from amazon.
