Insurance cards into Canada

In our planning and getting closer to departure I decided to check my motorhome insurance to make sure everything was ok going through Canada. What I found out was the insurance was fine, but you are required to have a Canadian Insurance Card or (ID). Apparently more information is required on the card.
So, my insurance company is handling it and mailing me a card.

Just thought I’d pass it on.

Here is something I found online. It appears that us insurance card “maybe” ok, but if you get pulled over or something you “could” get an uninsured vehicle violation.
The Canadian card insures you have the proper coverage for Canada.
