Does anyone have any experience with Ironman tires?

Never bought Ironman but Ive purchased many Coopers. Ironman is owned by Cooper and manufactured under Hercules, and the majority are apparently made China explaining the lower cost.

Cooper tires have never been exceptional for wear, not even very good really, but performance has always been good and unlike Chinese tires, Ive never had one fail.

So for a budget tire I think you are better off with Ironman, made under Cooper‘s spec than other budget brands from China. That said, my feeling is that any budget tire is a gamble.

I had a set on my Jeep. They performed very well off road. New, they were "OK" in the rain. When they hit 50%, I was terrified to drive in the rain.
