Hello-
I'm new to RVing and have purchased a used Roadtrek that is missing sewer parts beyond the 1-inch valve on the sewer hose. This Roadtrek uses a macerator, so it would not be continuously connected to a sewage pipe; it would only be connected when the tanks are emptied. I am wondering if I can just make a wand to empty the tanks at a dump station, or do I need to make something that requires a donut? I am confused, as I've seen some people on the Internet use a wand, and yet I read that many campgrounds and dump stations require a donut at the end where it connects to the ground pipe.
Does anyone know the definitive answer to this newbie question?
