Hi,
Please share your experience and recommendations regarding the performance modification for the Ford F53 - V10 engine. Was it worth the money? Which one did you use? Below is the link of the "mod" we're looking at. We have a 2019 Winnebago Vista Class A.
Thank you for your time and replies.

If the dyno sheets they show are true then it says you will gain 73 ft/lbs of torque. That will be very noticeable for SURE!! But I have no experience with this product. If it were me, before I spent $500, I would call and talk to the company and see if you get a good vibe from them. I wouldn't just do the transaction over the computer. Good luck! If you DO buy it, come back and let us know what you think.

This is a very Personal decision. Here are just some thoughts to consider..

You might ask yourself:
What problem does this solve?
What is the goal of the Modification?
How valuable is meeting that goal in $$ to me?
How much additional stress will be placed on the drivetrain with this modification?
What is the next potential failure point due to the extra stress?

Once modified you are a Test Pilot operating in an untested area with your RV.

Gale Banks is a great engineer and sells products that he has tested for performance.
Life on the race track or the Dyno is very much different than pulling a hill at max weight in CA or WVA on a summer day. In those circumstances your are on your own.

Maintenance of a drivetrain that has been modified is also an unknown. How long will the lubricants be effective under the additional stress? Engine oil 3000 or 5000 or 7500 miles?? Transmission fluid? Rear diff fluid?

There is much more than a dyno sheet to modifying a drivetrain.

My experience tuning track vehicles and performance road vehicles has given me a great respect for OEM tuners. Tuning a drivetrain is extremely hard to get properly balanced for reliability and longevity; and is always a compromise.
