Said no one ever in July, except yes, last night I slept with the windows open and it was in the 50's here in Fond du Lac, WI. I didn't bring a jacket as it was nearing 200 in VA when I left, although I do have a raincoat I could use but I survived the dog walk at a frigid 50 degrees this morning.

Yeah, I know, poor me.

It's only getting down to 70 overnight here right now. Even with the AC running non stop we're suffering.

You’ll be happy to know it’s now only 100 here in VA.

Cry me a river.

We just returned from a two week trip. Original plan was to meet up with Daughter and family in Chico CA and head to Utah for "dinosaur stuff". When we arrived in Chico it was 115* and Utah was forecasted to be above 100* for each day of our visit (or hotter)...so a last minute change of plans had us head up to the Oregon coast (Coos Bay). Very hot through the Siskiyou Mountains (some long grades!) but when we arrived at the Coast it was barely 60* and windy. The Chicoans were in shock 😉 We're Central Coast beach people so we were prepared but the clan from Chico were off to buy tourist sweatshirts first thing. Enjoyed our time there but really enjoyed a night on the Rogue River (In Grants Pass) on our way home.

My DD lives in Utah, very hot
