Not sure the fluid spec for your application but at 4years my jacks in the Canyon Star started acting up. Retraction issues, slow extension etc. I changed the fluid with a quality ATF, as called for in the manual. Jacks worked much better after fluid change.

And to add one more possibility, we hit that one bump too many on a 2007 year coach and broke a lead on an inductor (coil) on the HWH control board.
