So our bathroom fan in our Melbourne Prestige Jayco RV quit on us. All of a sudden it refused to turn on. I figured it was the fan motor, found a youtube on replacing the motor.
So I took down the screen, pulled off the fan blade, unscrewed the motor from its mount. But before I replaced it, I wanted to be sure the motor was getting power. So I went to work with a voltmeter. The motor was not seeing any voltage. Maybe the wires had come loose at the rocker switch in the bathroom. I unscrewed and pulled that out. Wiring intact, but no voltage from the wires. The bathroom overhead was working fine, good voltage and amperage, but not so the fan. Hmmm.....I mused that the fuse had blown, so I rummaged around the fuse box. All fuses were intact. Hmmm...Was the wire broken or loose somewhere else?

Somebody online suggested that the attic fan covers have a button that gets pushed by the cover when it is down, opening the circuit and turning off the fan, and that this button gets stuck and that you can unstick it. So I went looking for such a button and found none.....UNTIL I looked over to the corner of the opening, where the wires go into a small box the size of a pack of cigarettes. On the BOTTOM of this box is a small unmarked rocker switch. Who knew? I flipped it, and SHAZAM! Fan works fine.
