Nice place, a multitude of history here and they have tried to preserve the island. I love SP camping as that’s where it all began for us as a family and as a kid for me. (Andrea prefers a resort type environment rather than the woods).
AT&T service was acceptable, there is WiFi here but weak, most sites are close but we had plenty of room and they have cable hook up. Pull through and back in, full hook up. As state parks go, you can see the lack of funds to keep things up. This was our first time on the island.
You will need a parking pass for the rig and car if you plan to leave the island. No groceries on the island so shop before you arrive.

On the way gas 4.19.
Will try to load pictures.

Jekyll is a great island. Nice golf courses, an amazing clay court tennis center and a fishing pier right across from the campground. In the summer they have a water park that is worth every penny!
