Hi, I wonder if someone can help me out with running my fridge while I am driving hooked up to the truck.
I have a 40ft Grand Design Solitude 2018 5th wheel. It is a new rig to us so figuring it out as we go.
My inverter is turned on and there is definitely power being pulled from the truck to give me the basic lights.
We found out after a few hour drive that our fridge was getting hotter not cooler.
Is this due to the battery set up? I have two batteries. Happy to give more information on those if needed.
Thank you! Dave

Gas/electric, or compressor fridge?

First, it takes hours for temperature to stabilize.

I would guess if only while on the road, the door is not staying closed. That of course if the breaker is not tripped! Anything else is a warranty issue!

Does it cool properly when hooked to shore power? Have you checked other outlets connected to the inverter to see if they have power? It's possible the inverter has tripped and needs to be reset.

Thank you! I will do this. I’ll check the inverter. It has a light on and turns on and off but will need to see if it’s powering anything.
