You do have a solution in hand for that problem. Just saying.I also have to silicon the grommets in the wheels for the tire valve extensions. They never stay in place otherwise.
Thanks for the tip! Does one bead (or spot)do the job?Yep. Learned that lesson. Took the advice of others and put a bead of silicone on the steer and tag hub caps. Ordered replacements here Hubcaps & Wheel Covers
Actually, I think the flange the grippers are attached to get bent inward, lessening the tab pressure holding the cap in place. I suspect that they only go on and off a couple of times before that starts to happen.I'm guessing after a few remove and reinstalls those tabs get bent in the wrong direction. Probably needs remove and inspect after a service.
