Wife has been looking at this model for a few months. On Tuesday, she was driving to San Antonio and stopped to look new trailers not planning on buying anything right now. Just so happens they brought in a trade in of that model the day before. They wanted 29.5 and we offered 27K. They met us halfway. Looking at other used models, looks like we got a pretty good deal. I will be pulling it with an '17 F-150 Ecoboost with the max tow package. 8500 lbs fully loaded is about the max I want to pull with a 1/2 ton. I can pull up to 11,000. Looking forward to hitting the road.

I also tow a 2670Mk, 2021 model. Traded my 2013 Silverado 1500 for a 2021 Silverado 2500HD, mainly to get adequate cargo capacity. Towing capacity is only part of the equation and it's hard to Imagine a 1/2 ton truck handling that trailer, and related tongue weight, hitch weight and cargo weight for very long. Find a CAT scale and confirm your real world weights and be safe.
Best option is probably to get yourself a
BRAND NEW TRUCK!! Yeah, that's your best bet.
Good luck selling that idea to your wife.
