On my recent trip through northern Indiana I saw thousands of new trailers in various storage lots, I guess waiting for demand to catch up to supplies at dealers, many of which also seem to have a generous inventory on hand.

With so much surplus inventory waiting for buyers, these closures come as no surprise, and I would guess there will be more to follow. Perhaps the forecasters at Thor (and probably others) didn’t take changing energy policy into account as they ramped up production.
