I found a kinked hose -- see pics. Yesterday i was able to slip my phone camera above the ceiling/decking in the storage bay under the kitchen slide out. I traced the black ABS coming from the kitchen sink into the space above the bay (below the coach floor) and could just get my phone up in a crack to capture these pics. See below. I was somewhat relieved to find the problem. Now how to fix???
My thinking is i should replace the kinked hose. There is no way to disconnect it from both of the ABS connections above the storage bay ceiling. No access. The connections are too far back in there. Cutting holes will be a challenge to create enough room for connecting a new piece in there. There are electronics (inverter) blocking me out on the rear side especially.
I wonder if I can just cut the ABS (both sides) close to where I can reach up in the storage bay were it is exposed near the opening, pull out the ABS sections with the connected flex hose (remove everything); reconstruct two sections of ABS with a new flex hose (it will be easier to make those connections in my garage; and then slide the rebuilt section (fixed ABS pieces with flex hose connections) back up in there and use Fernco couplers to reconnect the new ABS to the old ABS on both sides? Does this make sense? I will try to diagram it and include with my photos below.
I posted this on another forum and have not had much feedback. Would appreciate your input...
