Lake Lurleen State Park inn Coker, Alabama is the prettiest and nicest campground we have ever visited.
It was recently remodeled/refurbished and it is fantastic! The waterfront sites are beautiful and spacious (some of the others are a bit tight) and easily take a 40ft RV.
I’m pretty sure that all sites have full hook-ups, the bathrooms are clean, air conditioned, and roomy. There are 2 or 3 docks for fishing, a swimming beach, and they rent canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards/boats.
Near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, there is plenty of great dining and shopping just minutes from the park. This is our new favorite park to visit.
